Developers Corner sat down with Michael Corcoran, National President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia and Director of leading finance firm Solido Capital.

Michael has more than 28 years of experience in Australian residential property development and funding.

He currently advises clients including AMP Capital, Proprium Capital Partners, the Knowles Group and is the Independent Chairman of the Zuccoli joint venture Master-planned community located in Darwin. This project is typical of the many mixed-use residential projects that Michael has been involved with throughout his career.  Prior to establishing his own development advisory consultancy, MC3 Advisory, Michael spent 20 years in Senior Executive & Project Director roles with major Australian property companies including Stockland, Mirvac and AV Jennings.

Michael is currently the National President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia, the peak development industry body in Australia representing over 2,000 members. This role gives Michael constant access to the development industry and real time insight into market conditions and current developer issues and opportunities.
