Mr. Marshall White, our founder, could not have envisioned what his firm would look like today when he established a tiny real estate office in Glenferrie Road at the youthful age of 28. Marsh stayed dedicated to establishing the brand name after himself for the remainder of his life, ensuring that it became the well-known and respected firm it is today.
Marsh, as he was known to his family and friends, was born in 1936 in Brighton and grew up in the green Foote Street. He had no intention of expanding and franchising to encompass the entire city of Melbourne. Instead, he kept the company small and controllable, allowing him to give his employees, other directors, and clients the attention and respect they deserved.
Marsh, a tremendous lover of life, will be remembered as a father figure to the firm and a mentor to the individuals he loved working with every day.
Marshall White is still a privately held firm today, with a unified team of real estate specialists that are linked, always communicating, and dedicated to the ideals set by Marsh over 50 years ago.
