Request For Proposal is invited for two major mixed use sites in the Leederville town centre. The City of Vincent is seeking proponents who will buy, lease or enter a joint venture with the City to deliver a minimum 400 bay public car park on part of the land and develop the remainder of the sites for mixed use outcomes that will enhance the Leederville town centre.
• Site 1 – Frame Court Car Park, Leederville
~ 4,300sqm
• Site 2 – The Avenue Car Park, Leederville
~ 8,900sqm
• Both zoned Mixed Use R-ACO
• 200m from Leederville Train Station and 2km to Perth CBD
Leederville is identified as being a Secondary Centre in accordance with the Western Australian Planning Commission’s (WAPC) State Planning Policy 4.2 – Activity Centres for Perth and Peel (SPP 4.2). In accordance with SPP 4.2, the City has prepared the draft Leederville Precinct Structure Plan (LPSP) which will replace the current Leederville Masterplan and guide future development within the locality.
The key vision for Leederville is: A thriving connected and sustainable local village that showcases and preserves its rich cultural and natural elements.
Developers are expected to meet the aspirations of the project with innovative design responses of significant build quality.
The project will provide a diverse range of land uses that are consistent with the town centre’s vision. The proposed land uses will complement the existing fabric of Leederville with residential, commercial, retail, entertainment, and community/civic uses to support the area.
