Phil’s executive career extends across a range of disciplines, from the law, investment banking, corporate advisory & the public-sector, wherein he has played a pivotal & often decisive role in shaping the strategic direction of both companies & industries alike.
His current positions include (but are not limited to) as Chair of SCA Property Group, Member of J.P. Morgan’s Australia Advisory Council, Chair of the Australian Antarctic Science Council & Chair of Trustees for the NSW Public Purpose Fund.
Previously, Phil is perhaps most well known for his ten year tenure as Managing Partner & Chief Executive Officer of top tier law firm Minter Ellison, Director & Head of Corporate for ABN Amro Australia, Director of Ingenia Communities Group, Director of the Garvan Foundation & Director of ING Management Limited.
He has also held a number of significant leadership positions across both State & Federal Government bodies.
Phil is a graduate of the University of Sydney having completed a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law degree before completing an MBA at Columbia University in New York.
