Don has been a long-time member of Elders Korumburra/Leongatha. He is the Korumburra office's Branch Manager, as well as an approved Estate Agent and Rural Specialist. Wear spent his youth on a family dairy ranch near Outtrim and has resided in Korumburra for the past 33 years. In 2016, 2017, and 2018, Don signed record agreements with Jean O'Loughlin. He was also awarded the coveted Elders Elite Sales Excellence, Victoria award for 2017 and 2018, which is widely regarded as a true public triumph. His knowledge of the South Gippsland region is allegedly unrivalled, as evidenced by his work on some of the region's largest rural holdings. Another significant achievement was his participation in the sale of one of South Gippsland's largest country holdings in 2018. Don feels strongly about thanking the local community as someone who grew up in the region. He is the supervisor of the Korumburra Recreation Center and assists in the support of local donning groups and events.
